This ended up to be a nearly gut rehab, except for rehabbing the cabinets instead of replacing them and not bumping out the wall 4 feet like the customer dreamt of. The cabinet which held the sink did have to be replaced. All new 1 1/2" Maple butcherblock countertops and all the shelves were 1" thick butcherblock Maple material. All tile splashes got new white tile. I created a plywood box for the refrigerator which helped give a storage shelf above. I repaired all exposed plaster and primed and painted everything.
