01

Gorham Castle Porch

Restoration of an 1880s porch — massive beams replaced with LVL, curved end trim fabricated by hand, stone piers stabilized, and a beaded tongue-and-groove ceiling installed.

02

Livingston Porches

Front and side porches rebuilt to period — turned cedar posts, Victorian detail, new rim joists, and restored drip edge.

03

Middleton Porch

Problem entry stairs and decking replaced on Diamond Piers, with Douglas-fir decking, decorative column trim, and a dentil course.

04

Rutledge Front Deck

Part of an extensive Victorian restoration — replacement structural beams, new decking, railings, and thorough waterproofing.

05

Rutledge Back Deck

The rear of the same Victorian — decking and rails rebuilt with the same attention to keeping water where it belongs.

06

Rugby Row Porch

A decomposing plywood porch replaced, with built-in firewood storage and shaped bench seating.

07

East Stairs

Front and back stairs reconstructed, with decorative post details and one-piece knee-wall capping.

08

East Porch

A new porch built from the footings up — posts, joists, stringers, treads, lattice, and rails.

09

5th Street Porch

A full porch rebuild — new foundation, joists, decking, stairs, posts, rails, lattice, and replicated period vine lattice.

10

East Basement Stairs

An unsafe basement stair rebuilt for media-room access — widened lower treads, better structure, a glass-block window, and real headroom.

11

Basement Stairs

Unsafe basement stairs replaced with new stringers, treads, and risers, plus storage, pantry shelves, and a properly anchored handrail.

12

Chrysalis Ramp

A large, code-compliant accessibility ramp for a developmental-services organization — built to the rules, but with a sculptural quality.
